Appliance Repair Across Spokane, Spokane Valley and North Idaho

51 Communities Across the Spokane Area and North Idaho  |  Same Rate Either Side of the State Line  |  No Distance Surcharge

Based on the South Hill in Spokane, and out from there in every direction: the Spokane area, the Valley, the West Plains, north to Deer Park and across the state line into North Idaho.

51 communities in total, plus the Pleasant View area outside Post Falls, listed in full below and grouped roughly by how far out they are. If you do not see yours, call and ask rather than assuming, because the edge is a driving-time judgment rather than a line on a map.

Before you call from the far edge of the map

The most useful thing on this page is his own policy rather than a marketing line.

Distance does not change the price. Idaho is charged at the same rate as Spokane, and there is no distance surcharge anywhere on the list. He charges the same for a service call or a repair and will take any job.

What distance does change is whether a repair is worth doing at all. If you describe a fault he can already tell is not worth fixing, he will say so on the phone rather than drive out to collect a service call for it. His own example: a washer making noise on the spin cycle is often bearings, and on an older machine that is not worth repairing.

And if you would rather have it confirmed in person anyway, he will come out. That is your call to make, not his.

The practical upshot is that the phone call is worth more the further out you are. Give the brand, the model number, and what the appliance is doing, and you find out before anyone drives whether this is a repair, a replacement conversation, or a trip neither of you wants to make.

Cities with their own page

Spokane itself does not have a separate page, because it is home. The South Hill, Moran Prairie, Manito, Comstock, Lincoln Heights, Glenrose, and Kendall Yards are Spokane neighborhoods covered on the home page.

When Spokane Valley incorporated in 2003, it took in six existing communities: Dishman, Opportunity, Trentwood, Veradale, East Spokane, and part of Greenacres. Those addresses are now within the City of Spokane Valley, so they are covered on the Spokane Valley page. Several of them still appear by name in the list below so you can find your own neighborhood. Millwood, which Spokane Valley wraps around on three sides, remained a separate city and is listed separately below.

What he notices about the different areas

Asked what actually differs between the areas he covers, the answer was mostly the same theme with small variations.

The South Hill and the core

A mix. Older houses alongside new construction, and older appliances alongside newer ones. He is based here.

Spokane Valley

Much the same: a mix of older smaller houses and new construction, bigger houses, and duplexes.

Liberty Lake and Colbert

Liberty Lake more modern. Colbert somewhere in the middle, with a lot of farmhouses alongside new-construction communities.

Cheney, Medical Lake and Airway Heights

No real difference from Spokane or the Valley. Cheney is a mix of older houses, farms, and a lot of new construction. Airway Heights is newer, and not a high-end area.

There is no part of town that needs something the others do not. What actually varies is the appliance and the fault, not the zip code.

What is the same everywhere on this list

Worth setting out, because a service-area page is usually where the caveats hide.

One rate

The $89 service call and the labor are the same in Coeur d’Alene as on the South Hill. No distance surcharge, no zone pricing, no minimum job size at the far edge.

Seven days

A Saturday, a Sunday, or a holiday is billed the same as a weekday, everywhere on the list.

The same van

Owner-operated: Sergei does the diagnosis and the repair. You are not handed to a franchise crew because you live further out.

In your home

All work is done at the property. There are no shops or drop-offs anywhere on this list.

What does vary is how quickly he can get to you on a given day, which is a scheduling question rather than a pricing one. There is more on that at Same-day repair.

North Idaho

Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Rathdrum, Hayden, Dalton Gardens, Worley, Hauser and State Line are all on the list, along with the Pleasant View area. Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Rathdrum and Hayden are the four largest Idaho markets on the list.

Same rate as Washington, no distance surcharge, and the same seven-day availability with no weekend or holiday premium.

Areas that are not covered

These 23 nearby communities are outside the service area. They are named rather than quietly dropped so nobody wastes a phone call.

Not covered

Idaho: Athol · Spirit Lake · Bayview · Garwood · Huetter · Plummer · Saint Maries.
Washington: Diamond Lake · Newport · Elk · Valley · Springdale · Rosalia · Tekoa · Saint John · Lamont · Oakesdale · Davenport · Fishtrap · Milan · Long Lake · Tyler · Waukon.

If you are just outside the edge, it is still worth a call. The line was drawn on driving time rather than on a rule, and he will tell you straight whether it works.
