If the washer will not spin out, the oven has quit while the cooktop still works, or the dryer has started taking three cycles to do one load, you are on the right page.
Otis Orchards and East Farms are one community for census purposes and one call for this one. They sit about half an hour east of the South Hill and are charged at the same rate as anywhere else on the map.
SD Appliance is Sergei Dergunov, working out of the South Hill since 2020 and repairing appliances since 2013. Call (509) 866-6767.
A 1970s community, all at once
Otis Orchards-East Farms is not a city and never has been. It is a single census-designated place covering both communities, north of the river and out toward the Idaho line, with no city hall and no municipal government of its own.
Its housing is the most concentrated on this map. Half of the homes here, 51 percent, were built in the single decade between 1970 and 1979, and about 61 percent predate 1980 altogether. Very little of it has gone up this century.
Nine in ten homes are detached houses on their own lots, and there is essentially no apartment stock. Owner-occupancy runs at 87 percent, well above Town and Country at 80 percent and Deer Park at 70 percent.

Houses people stayed in, and why that shortens a diagnosis
Those two facts together, old houses and owners who stay in them, change what a service call here starts with.
An owner who has been in a house twenty years usually knows when the washer was bought, whether the dryer has been worked on before, what was replaced last time and by whom. That history is diagnostic information, and it is information nobody in a recently built or recently sold house can give you.
So it is worth saying on the phone. If you can tell him the machine is about twelve years old, that the same noise happened three years ago and that somebody replaced a pump then, the visit starts several steps further along than it otherwise would.
What does not help is guessing from the age of the house. Half the homes here went up in the 1970s, and almost nothing in them is original by now, so the build year tells you nothing about what is standing in the kitchen. The model number does.

Getting out to Otis Orchards
About 19 miles from the South Hill and somewhere around half an hour, nearly all of it on I-90 before turning north.
Scheduling, not price
A run out along I-90 changes the scheduling rather than the price. Whether a visit can happen today depends on the hour you call, where the day already is, and whether the part is on the van, and you get that answer straight on the phone.

Booking a visit in Otis Orchards
1
The call comes to Sergei rather than a booking service. There is no call center and no dispatcher, so you are talking to the person who will do the work. Give him the brand, the model number, what the appliance is doing, and anything you remember about the last time it was worked on, which in a neighborhood of long-term owners is often the most useful thing said on the call.
2
Common parts ride on the van. Anything less common is ordered in, and nothing gets ordered without your approval of the part and the price. Local counter stock for appliance parts is thin, so anything less common comes from out of town and takes a few business days.
3
The same person diagnoses it, prices it and does the work, on the first visit and again on the return visit if a part has to be ordered.
The same $89 nineteen miles east as on the South Hill. It covers travel, inspection and diagnostic time, goes toward the repair if you go ahead, and stands on its own if you decide not to.
Flat, upfront pricing
Once the fault is known you get a flat price for the repair, before any work starts, and the price quoted is the price paid. It does not move because the job ran long or because the part sat somewhere awkward.
30 to 90 day warranty
Parts and labor are warranted for 30 to 90 days as stated on your invoice. Repairs only, in your home: no installations, no commercial work, no drop-off and no factory warranty work. The full terms, exclusions included, are on the warranty page.
No weekend or holiday premium
There is no weekend or holiday premium. A Saturday, a Sunday or a holiday is billed like a weekday.
Financing & military discount
Zero-interest financing through Wisetack is available on repairs over $500 for eligible customers, and active-duty service members and veterans get 15% off labor. Terms are on the financing page.
Questions people in Otis Orchards ask
Both. They are a single census place and a single service area here, at one rate.
No. Same rate as the South Hill, no distance surcharge and no minimum job size.
Less than you would think. The model number gives the age and the parts situation in one go, and it is on a plate or sticker inside the door, behind the kick panel or on the back.
Very. Say what was done and roughly when, because a repeat failure and a first failure point to different things, and that changes where the diagnosis starts.
Only for access and sizing, which is worth mentioning on the phone. It does not change the rate or the repair.
Yes, and Newman Lake itself. Same rate across the whole run.
