0% financing on repairs over $500

0% interestthrough Wisetack

Zero-interest financing through Wisetack is offered on repairs over $500, for customers who qualify.

Where it matters most is the repair that is clearly worth doing but still an awkward amount of money to pay at once. A built-in appliance is the common case: the repair is a fraction of the cost of replacing the unit and paying someone to fit a new one, and spreading it removes the reason to make a worse decision.

It applies to the repair rather than to the $89 service call, and qualification is confirmed before the work is booked.

Military discount

15% off laboractive-duty and veterans

15% off labor for active-duty service members and veterans. It does not come off the service call, and it does not come off parts. Asked what was behind it, he said he just wanted to say thank you for their service.

Fairchild Air Force Base is on the West Plains, and a good share of that community is inside the service area, so this comes up more often here than it would in most markets.

Discounts that are not offered

Stated rather than omitted, because finding out at the end of a job is worse than reading it now. Each of these was considered and declined in his own words.

Senior citizen discount: Not offered.

First responder discount: Not offered.

Teacher and school staff discount: Not offered.

Maintenance or service plan discount: Not offered, and there is no maintenance plan to be a member of.

Volume discount for landlords or property managers: No standing volume discount, and no premium either. One rate, every account.

Military is the only standing personal discount.

A note for landlords and property managers

The volume discount is the most requested, and the answer is no. The reasoning, along with the pre-authorization arrangement and how work orders run, is set out at Property management.

The short version is that nobody is priced up either. One rate, every account.

Before you spend either way, check for rebates

His own advice, and it belongs on this page more than anywhere else: before you replace an appliance, check whether you qualify for any available rebate or incentive.

Utility, state and federal programs come and go, and they occasionally change a repair-or-replace decision on their own. Nobody selling you either option has much reason to raise it. The framework for making that decision is at Repair or replace?.

What the $89 does and does not cover

The service call is $89. It covers travel, inspection, and diagnostic time; it goes toward the repair if you go ahead, and it stands on its own if you decide not to. Financing applies to the repair, not the service call.

The full picture on pricing, including what swings a repair cost, is on the appliance repair cost page, and the terms the bill runs on are on the warranty and service terms page.

Asking about it

Financing and the military discount are both easier to sort out on the phone than through a form.

Call (509) 866-6767 and ask before the work is booked, rather than after the invoice.
